Perfect construction with every aspect balanced – correct angulations, reach of neck, length of back. Long tail carried low. Feminine with correct bone and substance. Her head has not lost its qualities and her expression is still pleasing. I placed a lot of emphasis on movement throughout the entry today and this nearly 10 year old bitch out moved the whole entry. Was close between her and the open winner for the CC but she really deserved it today. Congratulations. BV, CC & BOB. ‘

Birmingham National Ch Show, May
1st VB, BCC, BOB, BVIB, Simon Burton, ‘Wow, this nine and a half year old tri just gets better and better. She has a stunning outline which simply flows from head to toe, a series of graceful curves. Quality head, a perfect wedge with lovely length, level planes and correct placement of stop giving an excellent profile. So clean through the cheeks with moulding adding quality, eye is a good shape, set slightly obliquely giving an expression full of charm and character. Ears are correctly tipped and well used. Super length of neck which she uses on the stack. Her angulation front and rear is a model for the breed and this, combined with a good depth of mature body, lovely forechest, ribbing carried well back, level topline with a slight rise over the loin and gentle curve over the croup to a long, perfectly carried tail, gives her that harmony of outline which is so pleasing to the eye. Super bone, legs and feet, firm front pasterns, well turned stifles and nice short rear pasterns all mean she is well equipped to do the job the breed was bred for. Everything comes together on the move as you would expect and her movement is simply outstanding. She goes with easy extension, low reach and real drive on a lovely length of stride, great ground coverage, free and flowing, tireless and a joy to watch. In good coat of correct texture with just a touch of silver highlights on her face but this only adds to her charm. All credit to her handler who very cleverly and without fuss, allows her to show herself off to her best advantage. I had absolutely no hesitation in awarding her the CC & BOB and for me, on the day, she was “simply the best”. I was very proud of her performance in the group and on this form she must surely get her 3rd CC and title. Thank you for bringing her, she was a pleasure to judge.’

One to be so proud of, very typical in all respects and must have been a real beauty in her younger days, lovely head and eye, good neck and shoulder, firm enough topline for age & good underline. Carried herself so well when moving, just felt she was flagging slightly on the final go around but another lovely girl.’ 2nd AV Veteran, Kirsty Miller, ‘another lovely Smooth Collie bitch who I really admired but today unfortunately did not like the ground and dug her feet in at times. Feminine head of good planes with nicely rounded muzzle, well placed ears which are used all the time to advantage. Balanced overall shape with good depth and enough fill of chest. Her good length of upper arm provides an excellent and functional front assembly complimented by her balanced hind quarters. She has lovely flowing lines and travelled around the ring effortlessly, outshining her younger competitor, deserving to beat her for BOB. Her movement was outstanding for her age. Nice oval feet. Coat of correct texture and colour. Tail reaching hock joint. She could have been placed in the group. A great shame she was not entered in the Pastoral Veteran class. Clitheroe & District Open Show, October
1st Open, BOB, Pastoral G2, 2nd AV Veteran, Angela Harvey, ‘Another I have judged before and she just gets better each time I meet her! She is 100% my type of Collie, clean and graceful from every angle, personifies dignity without losing the essential  qualities needed in a working dog. Her movement today was outstanding. Superb forechest providing her with super reach in front, equalled by her effortless drive from the rear. Topline level  at all  times, and she never appears to tire. Together this confirms what my hands and eye had already told me,  she has wonderful construction. Her head has length and is super clean through the cheeks, no depth at all in profile and you could sit a cup of coffee on her flat skull. Dark obliquely set eyes with feminine expression. For me the proof of a good dog lies in its ability to ‘last’ and she has stood the test of time, now nine years old and still  my kind of doll. BOB Pastoral G2

Oozes quality with beautiful outline, correct upperarm, holds her topline all the while and can outmove all else with her front extension & rear drive. Showed well. Quite why she still awaits the upper house is a mystery. Sadly, in the challenge she was much more interested in tidbits and fox poo in the grass.’

Lancs & Cheshire Collie Club Ch
1st LB, Jeff Horswell ‘Very easy moving tri bitch, who held the best topline of these three.Maybe not quite the head of 2nd, but it is feminine, flat skull, dark eyes, enough neck. Fairly good front. Well sprung ribs and strong in loin. Well bent stifle and low hocks. Just a tad untidy in front.’
Yorkshire Collie Club Open
2nd OB, Simon Burton ‘Not sure if I have seen this 3½yrs tri bitch before but she is rather nice and mother of the two juniors. Half sister to 1 and the same workmanlike construction. Quality head with lovely length, level planes and correct placement of stop giving an excellent profile. Eye is a good shape but not quite the expression of 1 as I found her a touch wide between the eyes. Ears correctly tipped and carried better than 1. Well angulated front and good depth of mature body but would like less length of loin. Neat at the rear with well turned stifles and nice short rear pasterns which gave her drive on the move. She goes with easy extension on a good length of stride, perhaps a touch slack in topline but she scored over 3 with her ground coverage and her better length to height proportions. In good coat of correct texture.’
